To the 2nd International Festival «SYMPHONY OF THE WORLD»!
I welcome all participants, organizers and guests of the 2nd International Festival and Orchestra Competition «SYMPHONY OF THE WORLD»!
This festival, the second in a row, is undoubtedly of great interest, to both participants and spectators, bringing together talented people who are truly passionate about their work.
The program of this forum promises a wide variety of musical material and a traditionally elevated atmosphere, providing an opportunity to get acquainted with the historical and cultural heritage of different countries. It is especially gratifying that the organizers of the Festival focused on bringing in talented modern young people, who will perform works of various styles and genres — from classical to folk.
This cultural event, novel for our city, will certainly contribute to the development of the instrumental genre.
I hope that the festival will disclose many new names in the field of instrumental performance and become the annual cultural event of the Northern capital
I wish great success to the «SYMPHONY OF THE WORLD» festival, and to its participants — new discoveries and creative victories!

I am pleased to welcome you to the 2nd International Festival and Competition of Orchestras «The Symphony of the World»! It is very important for me that this festival, which started last year, aroused interest and is keeping on, with the expanded list of participants, and the increased number of performances at various concert venues in our city. This means that the effort of the organizers of this event was not wasted, and the need for such events is confirmed.
We hope that the 2nd festival will be held in a wonderful creative atmosphere and will show the growing interest of the St. Petersburg audience in our concerts.
I wish all the participants of the festival good luck and good creative mood!
Welcome to St. Petersburg!
Artistic Director of the Festival
